February 24th: Neil Mantle (horn), Gill Gray (piano) - Horn sonatas by Danzi, Rheinberger, Cooke, Glazunov, Dunhill, Busser; Piano works by Mendelssohn, Fauré.
March 3rd: Oda Voltersvik (piano) - Pieces from solo debut CD : Firebird by Philip Martin (b.1947) Flight (2014) , When fire lights the darkness (2017, commission piece), Rachmaninov, Bartok, Stravinsky, Saeverud.
March 10th: Simon Thacker Guitar Students from Napier University and Edinburgh College : Frederico Moreno Torroba (Spain), Jaime Mirtenbaum Zenamon (Bolivia), Luigi Boccherini (Italy), Alexandre Tansman (Poland)
March 17th: Yicheng Pan (piano) (Glasgow RCS) - Schubert 'Wanderer' Fantasy, Rachmaninov Piano Sonata in B♭ minor, Four Chinese Pieces by Jianzhong Wang
March 24th: "The Accidentals" Guitar Group - Works by William Byrd, Modest Mussorgski, Leonard de Call, and Pieter Van Der Staak. Also some arrangements of traditional Scottish and Irish music and some Spanish and South American pieces.
March 31st: Easter Holiday - No concert

Members who would be happy to offer accommodation to visiting artists are asked to let Nancy Crook know by e-mail.
Members receive the programme free by post or email every month. There is a modest annual membership subscription fee but the concerts are open and admission is free. If you are interested in becoming a member please contact The Treasurer.
The Society attracts a variety of performers from students in search of experience to accomplished amateurs and professionals, well known Scottish or international musicians. In the course of the season, members have the opportunity to hear a wide range of compositions including musical rarities and occasional first performances. If you would like to perform for us, please contact Nancy Crook and include your telephone number. We will get in touch with you. Please note that we do not pay fees although we can help with expenses.
